About Us

Hi, I'm Kristan Wooten and I am the owner of Piece of Cake Parties & Gifts. I was raised in Conway and am a graduate of Conway high school and the University of Central Arkansas. After graduating college I married my husband and we own a residential construction company which I am very involved in. But after working with my husband in the construction business I decided I needed to do something for myself. I've always loved decorating and hosting parties. For years people have been telling me that I should create a party planning service and I finally decided to do just that and that is how the idea for Piece of Cake was born.
A few people have asked if I am the only person involved in Piece of Cake and, if so, why is everything worded as "we". I am the sole owner of Piece of Cake, but there are a few reasons I chose to use the word "we" when referring to those involved in Piece of Cake. I am blessed to be surrounded by creative friends and family that I love to bounce ideas off of and borrow ideas from. I truly feel that all of my work is a collaborative effort. I also hope to eventually expand Piece of Cake and add additional team members. My hope is to be able to offer a variety of custom gift services created by other talented people. So although I am the only owner of Piece of Cake there are many other people who will be involved in the party planning process.
I am a classic perfectionist who wants every detail to be perfect. When it comes to party planning being a perfectionist is an asset. I promise to do nothing but my best when planning your event and treat it as if it was my own party to host. I will work with you in every way that I can to make sure you are not only satisfied but delighted with the end result. My hope is for everyone to compliment you on how fabulous your party was and what a wonderful job you did and for you to be able to tell them "Oh, it was a Piece of Cake!"
